Q: What’s iMessage? A: Look Here.


If you’re wondering what that new, green icon with the message bubble is – it is called iMessage.

iMessage is a SMS and a local chat application in one.  If iMessage ‘sees’ another iOS5 device nearby, it will send your message via a local WiFi network.  Otherwise, it will send it as a normal SMS Message via your cell provider.

Now you know.
